Introduction

myGEOscore ("we", "us", or "our") operates the mygeoscore.app website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

Data We Collect

We collect the following types of data:

  • Website URLs you submit for analysis
  • Email address (when you unlock full results or purchase a report)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe, we never store your card details)
  • Usage analytics (collected via PostHog to improve our service)
  • Technical data (browser type, device type, IP address)

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Perform GEO analysis on the URLs you submit
  • Deliver your analysis results and reports via email
  • Process payments for paid reports
  • Improve our service through anonymized analytics
  • Run the re-scans included with a paid report and email you the monthly report
  • Send product updates and GEO tips (only if you opt in)

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate myGEOscore:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication. Your analysis data and email are stored securely in Supabase. See Supabase's privacy policy.
  • Stripe: Payment processing. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • PostHog: Analytics. We use PostHog to understand how users interact with our service. PostHog collects anonymized usage data. See PostHog's privacy policy.
  • Resend: Email delivery. We use Resend to send you your analysis results and reports. See Resend's privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: Bot protection. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from automated abuse. It runs invisibly without user interaction and processes minimal data. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Data Retention

We retain your analysis data and email address for as long as we need them to provide our services. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Free analyses are subject to a fixed limit. 30 days after a free analysis completes, we automatically remove the copy of the analysed page, the supporting files we retrieved from it (robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt), the evidence recorded for each factor and the improvement tips. We keep a record of the result itself, which contains no content from your website, including the URL and domain, the dates of the run, the detected page type and the signals behind it, the overall score, the letter grade, the category scores, the identifiers of any checks that did not apply, the number and estimated cost of the AI calls the run made, any error message, and for each factor its identifier, its score and its pass or fail outcome. Paid analyses, the reports produced from them and their scheduled re-scans are not affected by this removal.

Scheduled Re-Scans

A paid report includes scheduled re-scans of the same URL for 3 months, one per month. Each re-scan runs the same analysis on that URL and stores its result, and we send one report by email to the address used for the purchase.

Every re-scan email carries a link that lets you pause or stop the re-scans in one click, with no account and no reply needed. Our emails also carry standard List-Unsubscribe headers, so your email client can unsubscribe you directly. Stopping the emails also stops the scheduled re-scans.

Scheduled analyses are retained the same way as the paid analysis they were created from, so the month-to-month comparison keeps working. The schedule itself is kept after the included re-scans are used up or after you opt out, so your history and your unsubscribe link keep resolving. You can request deletion of any of it by contacting us.

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request portability of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
